The Pride Organisers are currently finalising the line-up for Sitges Pride 2013. We can tell you from our sneak-peak, that this year’s event is going to have some great parties, a stellar line-up of acts all mixed together with that unmistakable Sitges Pride Atmosphere. It is an event you will not want to miss.
This year the event takes place from June 13th to 17th. Based on previous years, here’s what you can expect.
Thurs Jun 13th – Opening Night at the Village from 5pm
Fri Jun 14th – Village opens all evening and White Night – Several Large Parties Planned
Sat Jun 15th – Village opens in the afternoon & Pride Parade takes place from 5pm – Several Large Parties Planned
Sun Jun 16th – Village opens all day, High Heel Race, Afternoon Pool Party – Village Evening – Several Large Parties Planned
Mon Jun 17th – Closing spectacular in the Village

After much delibaration and ensuring no conflicts with either Barcelona or Madrid Pride, the 2012 dates for Sitges Pride have been announced. The event will take place from the Thursday the 5th of July to Monday the 9th of July.
The main parade will take place on Saturday the 7th of July. The Gay Village will once again form the backdrop of the 5 day’s of parties. Expect an even bigger line up of live acts and entertainment, more events, the return of an even bigger pool party and of course the Party in the Park…not to mention all of the events taking place in the gay bars, clubs and restaurants of the village.
Last year hotels were at 100% capacity so we would advise you to book your hotel now with us for the lowest rate guaranteed!

The club has never seen so many people dressed-up for a party before! Gaggles of drag queens (we think that is the term) mingled with circuit boys, tourists, locals, journalists, vips.. you name it.
The weather was perfect as the Mediterranean Breeze washed away the sultry heat from one of the hottest July’s we’ve seen in Sitges for a long time. It must have been all the hot bodies in Sitges last weekend.
And yes, of course there will be a Gay Pride Sitges 2011! AFGAL are working on the dates and they will be announced on the official Gay Pride Sitges Site soon.
We would like to thank all of you for your kind comments and emails over the past few days.
We would also like to thank the people of Sitges for embracing Pride and taking it to their hearts. It really was an entire Village occasion.

They kept the crowds entertained with their unique sense of humour every night in between acts.

Gay Pride Sitges 2010 has announced that the Pride Festival will be extended by 2 days. It kicks off as before on Friday the 9th of July and finishes on Tuesday the 13th of July.
Two huge parties have been added to the Friday and Saturday Nights. They will take place in the large Parc Can Robert. A series of spectacular shows, DJS and more are planned from 12am to 6am. And all of the bars will be open extra late on the Friday Night. The parade still takes place on the Saturday afternoon and the Party on the Promenade will kick off every day from 5pm until late. On Sunday Afternoon from 5pm, the biggest Tea Dance event of the Summer will take place at L’Atlantida as the Circuit Party hosts its pre-Party at what is one of the most amazing outdoor clubs in Europe. If you were at the closing party last year in August then you will know that this is an event that won’t disappoint. And as the event finishes late on Sunday evening after the sun sets, the town will come to life with all of the bars, clubs and the promenade packed full of international visitors. Finally the pride will close with a Gay Beach Party to remember on the Tuesday the 13th of July. Details are still being finalised but there will also be a series of activities during the Monday afternoon..as people chill out before the closing event! Stay tuned for details.

This Thursday Evening, the second meeting of the new Gay Pride Sitges Group meets at Parrots Hotel, in the breakfast bar at 6pm. Businesses interested in supporting Sitges presence at the Barcelona Gay Pride this June together with learning about the plans for Sitges Pride in 2010 should attend this event.
We will have further details for you as they are announced, but we can guarantee that in 2010 there will be one hell of a party in Sitges.
