Carnival 2009 – A Video Retrospective…
Here’s a recap of some of the amazing costumes and atmosphere that took place on Tuesday, during Sitges Carnival Parade. Once again, we would like to say a huge thank you to all of our advertisers in Sitges for their help and support throughout the Carnival and to the organisers and participants of the events for their energy and enthusiasm and to the Sitges Press Office for their assistance throughout the event.
The Death of The Carnival King 2009
Yesterday saw the death of the King Of Carnival… and we can’t blame him! What a week!
The past 12 days of Carnival (both Gay And Straight) have been extremely successful and brought a smile to Sitges once again!

See you in 2010….when Carnival takes place from Thurs 11th Feb to Wed 17th Feb 2010 (Parades – Sunday 14th Feb – Tuesday 16th Feb) with the Gay Carnival kicking off on the Saturday 6th on the week before!
Carnival 2009 – The Widows Night at Ma Maison
After the death of the King of Carnival, the widows made their way back to Locacola for a drink or two…and then headed to Ma Maison for the Noche de las Viduas…
The Night saw more than 32 contestants take part for the title of the best Widow for 2009.
