Sitges Rainbow Walk
A new “Rainbow Walk” has been installed in Sitges as part of the celebrations for International Pride Day on the 28th of June.
A new “Rainbow Walk” has arrived in Sitges. The project is part of an initiative driven by the Catalan Government as part of the celebrations for the International Day of LGTBI Pride, June 28th.
More than 700 different towns across Catalunya are installing rainbow walks as part of the celebration and a series of cultural events is being held across the region. Events will come to a close in Sitges. The event will be broadcast live on television and across social networks.
The Rainbow Walk can be found at the intersection of Carrer Primer de Mayo and Passeig de la Ribera. It is some bright news for Sitges. The walk joins the Rainbow Bench which was installed on the paseo at the annual pride celebrations in 2019.
