Sitges Pride 2018 – Parade Highlights
The annual Sitges Pride parade takes place every June. This year’s 9th event saw record crowds!
The Vintage Car Rally has been running from Barcelona to Sitges for since 1959. This year’s event takes place earlier than previous years on the first week of March.
The event begins the day before in Barcelona where people can view the cars. All of the vehicles were produced between 1900 and 1924.
The winners of the contest are not the fastest ones to complete the circuit but the motorists with the most original vehicles and the costumes most in keeping with the period of their car.
The cars will arrive in Sitges at approximately 1pm at the port of Aiguadolc. They will then make their way through the streets of Sitges and finish at Plz Fragata, outside the church.
This is a really beautiful event and the perfect way to spend a weekend welcoming the arrival of the Spring Season. The weather is quite mild and hotels have great deals.
