Sitges Carnival – Changes for 2022 Event
Sitges Carnival is confirmed and set to go ahead next weekend. There are some changes to the parade route along with times, but as all of the bars have reopened, we anticipate a successful Carnival 2022 and the start to a great Season.
Sitges Carnival 2022 Changes
- All of the night bars have reopened without restrictions. Restaurants are also open. Terrace bars open from 5pm. Most night bars open from 10.30/11pm and close at 2.30/3am.
- Events kick off from Tuesday when Parrots Pub reopens followed by the Mantillas night at L’Angle restaurant. The other night bars reopen on Wednesday/Thursday Night and stay open throughout the Carnival weekend until Wednesday. Get the App for details
- The main parade changes mean that the king will arrive at the Miramar Building on Thursday at 6.30pm and not on Fragata Beach. Likewise the parades on the Sunday and Tuesday will make their way from Av Sofia near the Hotel Calipolis right along the seafront on back, before turning up Espalter, by the Sauna and Queenz Restaurant. It will not make its way from the centre of town. This year there are just over 40 different floats, 10 less than is traditional.
- Sitges is at 90% occupancy for the weekend. There are still some last minute hotel deals available.
