Memories of 2006... looking forward to 2007! -

Well, we can't but help feel sorry for most of Northern Europe at the moment. Battered by storms and winds of over 120kpm/hr, its weather we certainly don't miss. So we dug through our archive of Photos from last year and picked out some of the best beach photos we could find to make your winter evening that little bit warmer! Oh by-the-way….its 19 degrees here and there wasn't a cloud in the sky today. Wish you were here!

The Terramar Beach.. ..your last stop before you drop your speedos! The gay beach is just beyond the next cove.

We're not sure why everyone packs the north most corner of the Gay Beach…when there is so much open beaches further up.. but hey.. at least its cosy!

Italians pack the beach in August… literally. Expect lots and lots of sun-tan oil and big dark glasses!

The other gay beach … Playa Del Muerto, is a bit of a walk but well worth the effort. Just avoid the trains!

When you are in Sitges, be sure to rent some inflatables. Or better still rent a pedal-boat and take your boat out to an area that's a bit more seculded!

Balmins beach is just beyond Playa San Sebastian. The first cove is mixed-nudist… the second is predominantly gay and has to be seen to be believed.

Go for a walk in the early morning during peak season (April – September).. and you will find the cutest boys strolling along the beach.

The Sitges Council keep the beaches in pristine condition. Each morning the beaches are cleaned and prepared for the day ahead.

Watchin the surf.. yes the Surfers were good.. but we got distracted by the audience.

Here you can see the pedal-boats out to sea. The Gay Beach has a gentle slope so you can go really far out to sea without being too deep!

Late evening sees a lot of boys jogging, working-out or exercising on the beach…preparing to buff-up for the night ahead.

The Gay Beach has been upgraded over the past few years and now has much better facilities, but be prepared to pay for the privilege of a deck-chair or that extra bottle of water!

The classic Sitges look… muscled and crew-cut.

The Gay Beach, La Platja de la Bossa Rodona…. where you are guaranteed to spend at least one day during your trip, admiring the beautiful views.
