Kellan Lutz, best known for playing Emmett Cullen in the Twilight series, appeared at the film festival this weekend.
It was crazy… people were queuing for hours to get a glimpse of the star and his matinee-idol looks!
Kellan was interviewed on his upcoming movie, Immortals as well as his work on the Twilight Saga.
So, it was a welcome change from all the strange zombies and crazy people on the streets this weekend! Eye candy always makes a Monday more bearable.

The annual Sitges film festival opened last night with a glittering VIP reception, poolside at the Hotel Subur Maritim..
The festival continues throughout the week with film premieres from the world of Sci-fi and horror.
The Sitges Zombie Walk takes place on Saturday night on Psg Ribera from 8.30pm.

Sitges Zombie Walk is back and this year 2010 with a new route: entering via the village, willing to eat all its inhabitants! The walk will kick off at 20.30 at the Miramar building on Saturday the 9th of October.
This year’s annual Sitges Film Festival takes place over 10 days, from the 7th to the 17th of October. We were give a sneak peak at some of the best movies that are going to be on show and the line up is as impressive as ever.
So if you want to catch a movie that won’t be in the European Cinemas for a while.. then the Sitges Film Festival is the pace to be this October. Here are some of our favourites! Films are shown in various locations throughout Sitges.
Super 8
This Sci-fi movie is a collaboration between Stephen Spielberg and J.J. Abram. Definitely one of the highlights for 2011!
With over 100 movies showing ranging from Japanese Magna to Swedish Thrillers, Sitges Film Festival will not disappoint those seeking something different to watch this October.

Moon has been chosen as the overall winner of the Sitges Film Festival this year. This year’s festival was a huge success with more screenings than ever before. The movie will be in Cinemas here in November and is due for release across Europe.

Zombies had been gathering all day and the trains from Barcelona to Sitges were frightening!
The events kicked off at 8.30 from the old town, but people had been queuing up all day to get have their zombie make up applied by professional make-up artists.
The Zombies made their way through the old town and onto the beaches of Sitges.
Their route was lined with people and the Zombies wasted no time frightening everyone in sight!
Rabid nuns, crazy serial killers, zombie footballers…you name it, everyone was there!
The event culminated in a street disco and beach party.
Zombies were seen wandering the streets at 4am as they made their way to the discos.
The event was a huge success and has turned the Columbus weekend into something to be celebrated in Sitges.

This weekend is set to be a busy one in Sitges with the closing of the film festival and of course the Zombie Walk which was a huge success last year.
This years event will be televised live on Spanish TV. The event kicks off at 8pm from the Miramar building in the old town behind the church and makes its way through the town to the beach at La Fragata. A Special Haunted Castle has been built to house the Zombies!
If you want to get made-up as a zombie, then you can..for free! The make up is amazing and most of you wont recognise yourself afterwards! So you can get away with anything!!! The queue is going to be long and kicks off at 12pm.
The zombies will then have their annual Zombie Beach Party until 2am which is free for everyone to attend with guest DJs and ghoulish music all night! Enjoy.

After the incredible reception of the Twilight Fan Event that took place last year at the Festival, this year Aurum Producciones and the Festival take pleasure in announcing a new event as a preview of the eagerly awaited premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon. For the second year in a row, fans will be able to come together in Sitges to enjoy numerous exclusive surprises related to the most important vampire saga in recent years.
The event will include exclusive complimentary merchandise for the audience and the special guest attendance of actor Jamie Campbell Bower, who will share his experiences with everyone present at the event. Campbell Bower plays Caius, one of the patriarchs of the Vulturi, the most ancient and powerful family of vampires in the world, who will have an essential role in the development of the dangerous romance between Bella and Edward.
The flim hits Europe in November. The event takes place on Oct 3rd at 1pm in the main auditorium.
