The annual Sitges Zombie walk took place this weekend.
The make-up this year was even more gruesome than last years event… frightening!
More than 400 people dressed up and walked through the streets of Sitges, with many queuing for hours and then waiting for hours to be “Zombified”….

The annual Sitges film festival opened last night with a glittering VIP reception, poolside at the Hotel Subur Maritim..
The festival continues throughout the week with film premieres from the world of Sci-fi and horror.
The Sitges Zombie Walk takes place on Saturday night on Psg Ribera from 8.30pm.
A lot of you have been emailing us for the dates for next years Bears Events in May and September. Unfortunately we are still awaiting the dates for the Bears Week and Meetings for 2011. As soon as we have an update, we will post it on the blog.

From the organisers of Gay Pride Sitges, comes Sitges Spring Break, a “Welcome to the Season” party for Sitges 2011. The event is in the early planning stages, but its set to become the starting party for the European Gay Spring Summer/Season in 2011!

Sitges Zombie Walk is back and this year 2010 with a new route: entering via the village, willing to eat all its inhabitants! The walk will kick off at 20.30 at the Miramar building on Saturday the 9th of October.

If you want to take part you can be “zombified” for free at the Edifici Miramar from 14h (limited places).
The third annual beach tennis masters takes place this October at La Fragata Beach in Sitges on the 17th ant 18th. This event was extremely popular last year! The event takes place from 10am until late in the evening.
The dates for the second Gay Sitges Pride have been announced. The event will take place from the 8th to the 12th of July.
The event, which attracted more than 60,000 people over the weekend this year, will be even bigger and more spectacular in 2011. The main parade will take place on Saturday the 9th of July.
The Gay Village will also return. The Village will be open for the entire 5 days of the event for 2011 along with the stage shows. Also, the bars in the village will be open for extended hours during the weekend.

This time, the weather was perfect and the Fireworks were mesmerising.
Santa Tecla is one of the final big festivals of the Summer Season in Sitges.
Our next big event is the Sitges Film Festival and the crazy Zombie walk taking place in October.
