This thursday saw Organic reopen after the Winter break.
Tourists and locals mixed together. Thanks to Marcus who gave us a night off and took the photos for us!
All of the bars and clubs in Sitges are open for Easter. Expect lots of partying and a busy night on Saturday and Sunday.
A late Easter kicks off the Summer Season and most of the bars will remain open at weekends and then every day from May.

Man Bar reopens this Wed for Easter Week, Wed 4th – Sun 8th April from 10pm. From 24th April, Man Bar is open every day from 10pm – 3.30am. Unlike other bars in Sitges, Man Bar has a loose dress code of leather, rubber, uniform, skin gear and sportswear.
Ok, so we might have taken a bit of poetic licence with this photo… but hey who can blame us. A cowboy and a fireman?? Anyway, on with the news! The 9th Nike Barcelona Firefighters Fun Run holds the European record for the best time in a 10 km race. On 1st April the runners will aim to beat the world record and you’ll have the opportunity to see the world’s top athletes in action. The race kicks off at 10am. Organic reopens Easter weekend in a sure sign that the season is about to begin and the tourists roll in. Easter is normally seen as a return to business-as-usual in Sitges so expect to see most of the bars and clubs reopen. As always your favourite bars, Privilege, Prinz, Oreks, Bourbons, B-Side and Bear’s Bar are also open.

Whilst not at the top of the gay scene agenda, there was something every so slightly gay about attending a Patchwork fair! But we have to be honest and say that we were amazed that you could actually create such amazing artwork with just a needle and thread and a whole lot of patience.
These were our two favourites. Such Gay Icons! You see, even the patchwork in Sitges is interesting!
The “Eternal Running” race takes place in Sitges this Sunday from 9.30. The race leaves from the front of the Sports Bar. Participants will gather at La Fragata Beach. Eternal Running is tough going. 10Kms through muddy waters, obstacles and rough terrain ensures that only the fittest boys take part! For more information visit the Eternal Running Sitges website.
The Sitges Car Rally 2007 took place this weekend amidst beautiful weather.
The cars looked amazing as they made their way around Sitges to the final viewing point at La Fragata Beach.
The 1920’s costumes were so authentic and added to the festive flair of the evening.
There were Model-T Fords, Convertibles, Chryslers.. you name it… they were there!

The Sitges Car Rally takes place every year on the third weekend in March.

If you are in Barcelona tomorrow, expect to see several Vintage Cars making there way to Plaça Sant Jaume. Although the rally doesn’t kick off until late Saturday, already there are many Vintage cars making there way up and down Las Ramblas in Barcelona.
