We popped into Parrots Pub last night…
It was their first time open since the end of Carnival and their official start off to the 2009 Spring/Summer Season.
For over 27 years Parrots has been opening on the 2nd Thursday before Easter…
And the tradition continues today..as locals and tourists hit the bar throughout the night..

Just a quick reminder… Parrots Pub reopens this evening from 5pm. Now you can return to crotch watching from the comfort of your chair as you watch the boys of Sitges pass up and down on their way to the beaches!
If you’re looking for an early evening drink in a relaxing environment, then why not head to the bar at the Hotel Liberty. Located On Isla de la Cuba in a turn of the last century period property, with a large outdoor terrace, its a great place to mix with locals, expats and tourists and engage in some friendly banter.

Parrots Pub is to reopen next Thursday the 26th of March and so kicks off the start of the Sitges Season for 2009. With a hectic Carnival, and busy weekends for the Car Rally, the Stock Sale and expected crowds for this weekends Art Festival, its shaping up to look like a very busy 2009! The bars will start to get busy from now until Easter and then come May we have the Bears events…and then comes the hot Summer months!

This year’s Lola Party takes place at Privilege on Saturday the 4th of April. The event, which is organised by Marypili, is a highlight in the calendar for girls in Sitges. This years party also welcomes the boys… you just have to be in the company of a girl… so Marypili’s regular customers can also attend the event. Sitges Carnival 2022 returns with some changes to the program, most notably to the parades. All of the bars and night bars have reopened.
