/in Carnival / Carnaval, Events/by keith@gaysitgesguide.comHere’s some video coverage of the Arrival of the King of Carnival last Thursday… We’ll have photos of the Carnival Parade later on today.
Carnival at Marypili – Saturday Night
/in Carnival / Carnaval, Events/by keith@gaysitgesguide.comOut second stop of the evening was at Marypili.
We think these girls should open a second business designing Carnival costumes as their Pirate Outfits were amazing.
The bar was packed with eager carnival revellers all after one of Michi’s Mohitos…
And the atmosphere spilled out onto the Street throughout the night…
You can check out the photo galleries of Marypili by visiting their gallery on Gay Sitges Guide below.
Bourbons Bar – Carnival – Saturday Night!
/in Carnival / Carnaval/by keith@gaysitgesguide.comBourbons Bar was our final stop of the evening…
As per usual the bar was packed with boys and girls in amazing costumes!
It was hard to even recognise some of the people we know well… they pop on a frock and bang… they look completely different!
Bourbons Bar is open every night during the Carnival Period from 10.30pm.
The Bar has become a hub of Carnival Activity as people make their way from Bar to Bar and pop in to have a photo or two taken!
As always Manolo and Edison were assisted by the very special Eric and Carlos…
It was a definitely a battle of the sexiest costumes last night….
And it appears its true what they say about scottish men and their kilts! (Just check out the gallery to see what we mean).
Local Bar owners mixed with locals and tourists alike as the bar got busier throughout the evening.
You can find out more about Bourbons Bar by visiting their site here.

NOTE Renfe has provided an additional 30,000 extra seats by increasing the number of trains leaving from Barcelona to Sitges on Sunday. Remember the parade kicks off at 9pm, but you should get here early. Its best to come by Train as the roads are already beginning to see peak traffic (as of 5pm).
Carnival at Bar Azul – Saturday Night
/in Carnival / Carnaval, Events/by keith@gaysitgesguide.comOur second last stop of the Night was to Bar Azul!
This is a bar with a great Carnival atmosphere as the party spills out onto the street late at night!
The guys at Bar Azul make everyone feel very welcome and the customers were downing the chaupitos in true carnival style!
Bar Azul is open every night during Carnival from 10pm.

Carnival at Locacola – Saturday Night
/in Carnival / Carnaval, Events/by keith@gaysitgesguide.comOur third stop of the evening was to Locacola… always popular througout the Carnival Festivities!
Its great to watch people’s faces as they pass by the bar and take in some of most outrageous Carnival Costumes in Sitges!
Locacola is open every night during Carnival from 8pm unitl late!

Parrots Saturday Night – Carnival 2009
/in Carnival / Carnaval, Events/by keith@gaysitgesguide.comIt was the busiest Saturday Nights in Sitges that we have ever seen…
So busy in fact that apart from popping in to see Miss Sebastian Monroe, we had to stay outside and photo people as they queued to get into Parrots! What an atmosphere!
Our advice is to get to the bar early! We arrrived at 9.30!
And it was the same everywhere in Sitges with bar owners reporting record numbers!
