Bears week Sitges is going down a storm. You could hardly move in most of the clubs this weekend. XXL has been packed for their happy hour every day from 6.
Don’t forget to drop into Bears Bar and say hello to Yves.
Bears Bar is located right next to the Organic Night Club and is run by the lovely Yves.
Finally it was off to Man Bar on Bonaventura where the dark rooms were very busy, or so we were reliably informed!
Bears week finishes tomorrow, Tuesday the 1’st of May. Check out their events details on Gay Sitges Guide.
Parrots inauguration party was held last Friday and already the hotel is a runaway success. The decor is bright and modern, the service is genuine and efficient and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
The hotel has more than 30 rooms, all ensuite with satellite tv and a wide range of other facilities.
The hotel is due to open a Sauna in the forthcomming months and this is set to become a welcom addition to the Sitges gay scene.
Tourists and locals mixed together at the opening party which kicked off at 5pm with Luis from Parrots presiding as master of ceremonies.
The hotel is located in the centre of town, on C. Joan Tarrida. Bookings can be made online via http://www.parrotshotel.com
You can view all of the photos taken by visit the photo gallery section of Gay Sitges Guide.
The hotel is the latest in a series of business developments by local gay people. Several other projects are set to come to fruition over the next few months and we will be sure to keep you informed.
We wish Parrots Hotel every success in its future endeavours.

D&G is one of the most popular swimwear brands in Sitges during the Summer. Here is their latest runway collection from 2007. All we can say is…mmmm delicious.
Speaking of swimwear, here’s an exceprt from this year’s Mr Gay Spain. Its the swimwear section. And just look at those smiles. Amazing.
Whilst most of you will be staring directly ahead at that lovely Spanish guy walking in front of you, you may want to take the time to look up now and again and take in some of Sitges amazing architectural heritage. The building above, is just one example. Its the Casa Bartomeu Carbonell i Mussons and was built between 1913 and 1915. The Disneyland look is perfect for Sitges!

This weekend saw the beaches packed with goodlooking guys, on holidays and in from Barcelona. Great! Maricia, our roving photographer for GaySitgesGuide.com, took some great shots while we were left to recover from an extended night out.
Remember, this weekend will be an extra long weekend as the Bank Holiday in most countries falls on a Tuesday, which means most people will be in Sitges for an extended stay, especially for the Bears Weekend.
There could be no complaining about the weather this weekend with temperatures hitting a high of 26 degrees on Sunday afternoon.
Expect lots more georgeous guys on the beaches of Sitges over the next few months. To find out where the best beaches are visit our “Beaches Section” on the guide. Have fun!
