Roller Hockey is a big Catalan Tradition. The catalans here go crazy for it… as they do with most sports – for some its almost fanatical. There are regular matches in Sitges where you can see the lovely local team play in Pavelló de “Pins Bens” most saturdays.
The game is fast pace and can be brutal at times… getting a slap from one of those sticks gotta hurt!

So, we've only be live since late Summer, but already you've searched over 40,000 times on our search box on our home page! And we've worked hard to give you what you want! We will leave some of the more obscure search terms for another post! But they were hot… The air-conditioning had to be turned up a notch in the GaySitgesGuide.com office when we saw some of the things you boys were looking for! But here is the top 10… which shows what your are looking for on your next trip to Sitges!
Your main priority is your bed…or more accurately finding a bed to stay in, with Hotels being your preferred option, followed very very narrowly (less than 5% difference) by Apartments. Once you've found where to stay, you've two things on your mind! Getting a tan and finding a boy! (Beaches and Cruising).. After that its a night out on the town (bars) and then you hope to score!
Finding your way around is essential so a good map and directions is always handy! After all that exercise, its time to eat as restaurants make it into the number 10 position.
We'll be using this data (and the analysis of the other 40,000 search terms) to fine tune this guide over the comming months to bring you even more of what you're looking for!

At the moment the weather is still unseasonably warm. The days are a little crisper by Summer standards, yes. But still beautiful weather for wantering the streets of Sitges… during the day or at night.
The streets are certainly quieter, except at weekends where there still seems to be an amazing buzz around the town.
The sky last night was stunning. At this time of year the reflection from the low-sun against the sea creates this amazing pink glow during the sunrise and sunset.
Normally at 8pm in the evening this beach would still be packed.. now its just beautiful to walk along the shores edge and enjoy the simply tranquility Sitges has to offer.
Boys abound on this jetty during the summer.. You simply can't walk down here without being cruised by some lovely lad.
So we though we'd share some of the hottest pics of the boys of Sitges from Summer 06.
Yes, the beaches get busy, but its great fun and you get to meet some fab boys from around the world. If you fancy some quieter beaches, San Sebastian is beautiful and less touristy.
Your eyes won't know where to look, showers or sea.. there's so much choice.
Beach parites are popular during the peak season….. expect even more in 2007!
Poor boy… hurt his hand on a skateboard earlier on…
These boys from Cincinati were here for a few days and wound up staying for 2 weeks in July. This was taken at least 1000 metres from the Gay Beach.. much quieter… but still lots of Gay boys.
And finally the perfect muscle boys… always here in their hundreds during early August… they seem to grow on trees here during the Summer months.
So there you have it. Summer is definitely the season of debauchery with the winter months perfect time to recover! Weekends are busy with Ricky's gay night on Friday's, Bingo at Monroe's, great drink promo's at B-Side and Oreks, the always stylish and seductive Privilege and of course the lovely Spanish boys who are always ready to please as you cruise down the quieter streets! Hey, more choice for you!

The drinks were flowing and the party atmosphere was in full swing on Saturday night at the Gais Positius//Privilege Charity Night. Hosted by Angela and Sammy, local party-goers were treated to celebrity treatment by the local TV station, Maricel. Barcelona Gay Radio Station Ens Entenem covered the event live on air.
Staff behind the bar all volunteered their time and a percentage of the bar's takings also went to the Charity.
Pictured above are Gianni (Privilege) and Sammy the host for the evening.
Some local sitges boys and girls enjoying the night out!
Local businesses were well represented and many donated some great spot prizes.
Karen kept us all on our toes…literally, playing some great music throughout the night.
The lovely Marco from Prinz dropped in to sing a few tunes and played to an encore!
These two entertainers wowed the crowd at the end of the night with a semi strip-tease…. just view the Photo Galleries for more!

Home to some of the hottest boys in Sitges, Prinz reopened last Friday night with a brand new look and a better than ever atmosphere!
Regular visitors, who were deprived of their favourite bar and barmen over the past few weeks were rewarded with a fresh new look with lots of white walls, a great big disco ball and a new chill-out zone with comfy pillos and a great big curtain that acan be drawn for a more intimate feeling! Yum.
All this work was in preparation for the “Afternoon chill-out sessions” which start in January. We will keep you informed as the events roll out!
The whole bar has been remodeled with a lovely mediterranean feel. Gone is the old wooden look, but rest assured, the georgeous boys behind the bar still provide the best eye-candy in town.
Of course the famous smoke machine which gives Prinz its signature trademark is ever present… and together with the new strobe lighting can turn the venue from chilled-out to maxed out as the hot strippers take centre stage! Always a firm Sitges favourite.
Some local Sitges regulars enjoying the night in Prinz!
