The Pride Organisers are currently finalising the line-up for Sitges Pride 2013. We can tell you from our sneak-peak, that this year’s event is going to have some great parties, a stellar line-up of acts all mixed together with that unmistakable Sitges Pride Atmosphere. It is an event you will not want to miss.

This year the event takes place from June 13th to 17th. Based on previous years, here’s what you can expect.

• Thurs Jun 13th – Opening Night at the Village from 5pm
• Fri Jun 14th – Village opens all evening and White Night  - Several Large Parties Planned
• Sat Jun 15th – Village opens in the afternoon & Pride Parade takes place from 5pm – Several Large Parties Planned
• Sun Jun 16th – Village opens all day, High Heel Race, Afternoon Pool Party – Village Evening  - Several Large Parties Planned
• Mon Jun 17th – Closing spectacular in the Village

We expect full details of all of the events, parties and more to go live on the official Pride website by the end of March. In the mean time, we suggest you book some of the last remaining hotel rooms and apartments in the town now, before its too late.

The scheduling and planning for Gay Sitges Guide 2013 is already underway. Except even bigger acts, more parties and some new and interesting surprises for the 4th year of Pride!

Sitges Pride 2013 takes place in JUNE 2013! Yes, June.

The event has been moved forward to ensure as many people as possible can attend the pride! In June, we have more hotel rooms available so this year, everyone will have the chance to stay and see one of the fastest growing Prides in Europe.

The Event kicks off on Thursday the 13th with a free open air concert from 6pm. Major acts are currently being lined up to provide you with 5 nights of spectacular entertainment.

Friday will see the annual Mr Gay Pride Sitges competition. The Winner will go through to represent Sitges in the 2014 Finals in an all expenses paid trip to Madrid!

Saturday evening is one of the highlights of the Pride. The main parade will be moved back to later in the afternoon (after complaints about the heat from the earlier time in 2012). The Party on the Promenade will kick off at 2pm.

The Es Fashion Show will hit the runways on Saturday evening and some major acts will perform on stage throughout Saturday Night. Party Nights in the major clubs are being scheduled as we speak!

Sunday will see the famous High Heel Race in the afternoon. Sunday evening and its the turn of the Drag Queens – competing for the title of Miss Drag Queen Sitges 2013.

Monday will conclude the weeks festivities with an amazing closing party on the paseo! Sitges Pride 2013 is also working on bringing back the pool party, and working on securing larger venues for more outdoor parties and events!

Tuesday evening saw the final party of the pride festivities in Sitges for 2012.

With more than 60,000+ visitors to the town this weekend, people were still in the mood to party!

Tuesday nights continue to be one of the most popular in Sitges.

The Gay Beach Party kicks off at 00.30am.

You can get a free bus to L’Atlantida from outside the hotel Calipolis, every 15mins.

This year the club has a brand new sound system, amazing lighting and an expanded viewing platform.

Of course Lady Diamond and her sisters made a final appearance for Pride on the night!

And the music was supplied by Glitterhaus, one of the hottest DJ couples in Switzerland.

Now in its third year, Sitges Pride has become one of the most popular Summer beach prides in Europe attracting over 60,000 visitors over 5 days of parades and parties.

This year’s event will take place from Thursday the 5th of July through to Monday the 9th of July. The main parade kicks off on the Saturday afternoon, featuring more than 25 spectacular floats. Hundreds of muscle boys, go go’s drag queens and entertainers will take part adding to the carnival atmosphere.

The Mediterranean Sea will provide the backdrop for 5 days of free open air concerts. International tribute acts to Kylie, Queen, Tina Turner, Lady Ga Ga and more are planned. The promoters are also working with some big name stars for the Saturday evening spectacular in the gay village. “Splash”, the afternoon pool party on Monday will also make a welcome return.

The entire village of Sitges will go completely White on the Friday night to celebrate “The White Night” with special parties planned in all of the clubs and bars in the town. The raunchier “Black Knights” leather and fetish party is on the Sunday.

ES Collection will host a fashion show spectacular featuring more than 25 of Spain’s top male models. The popular Mr Gay and Miss Drag Queen Sitges competitions will take place on stage in the Gay Village.

The festivities finish on Monday night with a closing finale party in the main Village and a series of special after parties in some of Sitges legendary clubs including Trailer and L’Atlantida.

After much delibaration and ensuring no conflicts with either Barcelona or Madrid Pride, the 2012 dates for Sitges Pride have been announced. The event will take place from the Thursday the 5th of July to Monday the 9th of July.

The main parade will take place on Saturday the 7th of July. The Gay Village will once again form the backdrop of the 5 day’s of parties. Expect an even bigger line up of live acts and entertainment, more events, the return of an even bigger pool party and of course the Party in the Park…not to mention all of the events taking place in the gay bars, clubs and restaurants of the village.
