Well on Saturday the 9th of Jan, the girls from Marypili spent their final night at the Bar and threw one hell of a party!

Michi and Annie are moving to the UK to set up a new bar and Marypili is now under the ownership and management of the Parrots Group.

Theres a new girl behind the bar and the Marypili ethos will continue throughout Carnival and into the Summer months… its even got a brand new look on the building and we expect some more work to be completed before the Summer arrives..

Well wishers from Sitges and beyond were out in force to give the girls a traditional Sitges sendoff…

For those of you who haven’t heard, Marypili, Sitges Lesbian and gay bar has been sold. The girls, are moving to Manchester and we at Gay Sitges Guide wish them the very best.

The “Going Away” party will take place on the 9th of January! In the mean time you can still enjoy drinks on the terrace in the Winter sun as well as the unique atmosphere that makes Marypili special. The bar will remain in gay ownership. We will keep you updated.

This Saturday, Fiesta Lola makes its return to Sitges with its Fiesta De Chicas. The party takes place at Privilege from 10pm to 3.30am. Tickets are EUR 5 pre-sale from Marypili and EUR 7 at the door on the night.

Monday night saw the closing of the Girls Circuit Party in Sitges.

The Legend Party in Sitges is the biggest gay girls event in Europe.

Thousands of girls packed out L’Atlantida on Monday night and partied until the early hours of the morning. Earlier on crowds packed the streets outside Marypili for a pre party cocktail or two!

Friday night and you really never know who you might run into in Sitges..

It appears that Lady Diamond’s official fan club came to town and descended upon the unsuspecting girls of Marypili for a little bit of street entertainment.

One never knows where Lady might strike so all you Straight boys reading this (yes we do have some)..watch out!

Lady Diamond can be seen in Queenz bar on Thursdays and at Prinz bar on Wednesdays and Sundays…

Her alter ego, Pablo and Miss Madrollop/aka Miss Ruby aka Ben can be seen during the afternoon and evenings for Breakfast and Dinner at Monroes Sitges.
