Its not every day that we get excited about the weather in Sitges, however given that we didn’t have the greatest weather in the last week or so, its nice to see the weatherman get all excited yesterday and use the words “Sunny and Delightful” to describe our future weather prospects.
Temperatures are set to climb to an average 25 degrees by this wednesday so get your butts to the beach and top up your tan!

Sitges is just such a positive place to live in! The lifestyle, the weather, the people. You have to be here to truly experience all the town has to offer. Today it rained all day. Unusual for Sitges. And wow, were we treated to a spectacular sunset.
The sun sets over the Dolce Hotel every evening, but on Wednesday an exceptional rainbow covered the town, the first one I’ve seen in Sitges in 12 months.
The view from the Terramar hotel was even more spectacular. You could be anywhere in Spain as you watch the unusual palm trees sway in the evening breeze. If you are looking to have an evening cocktail then we highly recommend the front bar of the hotel. Here you can sip some spectacular concoctions while you watch the sun slip through the Mediterranean.
Just another day in Sitges and another reason to visit, any time of the year!

Today in Sitges the weather was truly amazing. And it is set to get better. With temperatures expected to reach 22 degrees on Saturday its more like May than March.
We took the afternoon off to stroll around the beach promenade. The surfers were out in force as were the sailiors. Hello boys!
It reminded us just how beautiful Sitges can be in the Spring. The temperatures are expected to continue for the next week. For full details visit the Weather page on Gay Sitges Guide.

I think the photo above says it all about yesterday. The weather was truly spectacular at 22 degrees. People were on the beach sunbathing and the windsufers were out in force, testing the waves and the wind just ouside Play Del Muerto or Dead Man's Beach in Sitges.
Althoug the waves are not that high out by that cove, its perfect for windsurfing as the winds roll in from Vilanova…. as we were reliably informed by Rick who windsurfs here every weekend.
Surfing equipment can be rented by the hour in the Port of Aiguadolc.

This is the view of Sitges main beaches as the sun sets on another extremely mild Winter's day. So you can imagine what it will be like during the summer! As the sun sets a beautiful orange glow covers the entire sky.
Sitges has a unique microclimate with over 300 days of sunshine every year. Sometimes Barcelona can be caught up in thunderstorms and clouds while gay boys and girls are getting an allover tan on the beautiful beaches of Sitges.
So whatever time you visit us, you're sure to be in for some great weather. It doesn't matter what the season, your're guaranteed it will be better than most of Western Europe of the US anytime!
