This was the scene (above) this morning as Sitges woke up to another record-high day…. and also to the quarter finals of the Beach Volleyball competition as part of the Barcelona Eurogames 2008…

These boys certainly know how to play hard…

In the swealtering temperatures they still managed to perform…and thrill the audiences, both gay and straight alike..

The competition continues into Sunday….

The competiton is being held at La Fragata Beach, just in front of the Church…

The 2008 European Gay Games comes to Barcelona. So expect July next year to be a very busy month. We suggest you get booking your accommodation now, if you want to be in with a chance of getting your preferred apartment.

To promote the event, the organisers have developed the video.. the soundtrack is a bit cheesy but it does show some of the best shots of Barcelona and some cute athletes too!
