The hosts of the Pride, the stunning ladies from El Candil really stole the show at Sitges first Pride.
They kept the crowds entertained with their unique sense of humour every night in between acts.
They also worked tirelessly in very hot weather with some amazing costume changes..

The excitement mounted in Sitges during Pride as the Gay Village in the promenade took shape with the help of many volunteers.
The Village was the life and soul of the Pride with more than 60,000 visitors passing through Sitges on Saturday and Sunday evening.
With bars, a huge music stage and an amazing line-up of acts, it was the perfect backdrop for Sitges pride by the Mediterranean Sea.

Sitges very first Pride was launched formally on Friday the 9th of July at the hotel Calipolis.
Members of the press mingled with TV crews, local personalities, members of the council and tourism offices as well as AFGAL board members and volunteers.
With more than 12 months advance preparations, meetings and reviews, it was great to finally see the Pride festivities begin with the launch and the planned 5 days of events, parties and festivities.
Gay Pride Sitges aims to set a new benchmark for tolerance and tourism, working with the town to promote the ideals of Pride together with the fun and celebratory atmosphere for which Sitges is renowned.

Here is our first official Pride Photo.. and the event doesn’t kick off until 5pm this evening… But it appears that won’t stop Sitges from Partying on the night before any official celebration.
The town was full of people from around the world looking to have a great night out. “Its like the middle of August” one bar owner told us. And that is backed-up by the latest figures from the tourism office as reported by National Newspaper La Vanguardia.
Remember Tonight.. its the official Launch Party with Abba the Show (Amazing, even if you are not a big Abba Fan)..followed by a spectacular fireworks display. Then off to D E C A D A N S E .. the “Party in the Park” with outdoor foam party, cruising area and much, much more..

Congratulations to Spain last night on their Victory over Germany. As the final takes place in the middle of Sitges Pride on Sunday, the Entire Pride Stage will give way to a huge screen that will broadcast the match from the seafront!

Tuesday night saw the kick off to Pride warm-up week as guys from around the world make their way to Sitges.
L’Atlantida will host 2 special parties for Pride this year.
On Sunday afternoon, the Circuit Festival will host a T-Dance with BBQ from 5pm until 12am.. Last year this event was one of the hottest parties of the season in August.. and now you get to enjoy it once more during Sitges Pride.
You can still get some tickets online at www.gaypridesitges.com. Tickets purchased will be held for collection at the Ticket Point in the Gay Village.
The Gay Beach Party is also hosting a closing night party of Pride on Tuesday the 13th of July.
