Gay Sitges Guide Blog

Any of you who have been to Sitges and visited the popular mixed-nudist-beach at Balmins will know that its not the easiest beach to find. Although its only about 10 minutes walk from the centre of town, there are a number of detours involved.

That is all set to change over the next year as the council embark on a EUR 6 million plan to develop a promenade leading all the way to Balmins and beyond, making access to this part of the town and the port further on, that much easier.

It appears that our friend Pierre now has quite a following on the beaches of Sitges. This friday he took some amazing shots, some of which were posed and others were just random shots…but with his great eye for guys, he seems to get some of the most beautiful photos we’ve seen this year.

Finally our favourite. Hes going to be Mr.August on the Calendar. Pierre will be out with his Camera again next Tuesday and Wed so say hi!

Sunday was beach day for our friend Pierre…. from dawn till dusk…and then we have that amazing thunder storm at the end of the night!

Sitges is full of the hottest beach boys at the moment. The further up the gay beach you go, the nicer they seem to get!

Say hello to Ricardo all the way from Tel Aviv who brought his own yellow fold up chair…. Perfect!

Its August and the beaches are HOT! Temperatures are continuing to rise this week…so lots of hot boys getting even hotter!

For those of you who haven’t been to Sitges before, check out our Beaches section to find out where the best beaches are!

There are 2 gay beaches and one mixed nudist beach in Sitges. However you will find gay and straight people mixing quite happlily along any one of Sitges 17 beautiful beaches.

Most of the beaches will have shower facilities and a kiosk that sells food, soft drinks and beer!

Hitting some of the gay beaches is a great way to meet people and plan your big night out!

The beaches start getting busy at around 11am. They get even busier between 1.30 and 4.30, when the local boys have their work-siestas and come to the beach for an afternoon snooze!

The hot month of August means that people tend to stay on the beach right up until sunset, which normally occurs around 7.30pm. Bring a bootle of Cava and wach the sunset as you take in some amazing views!

The beaches of Sitges are busy every day now from 11 in the morning till late at night.

Cruising on the beach happens late in the evening from about 1.30 in the morning…but remember, this is Sitges so you could find your ideal man at 1 in the afternoon!

Remember, the Sun is hot in Sitges, so be sure to wear plenty of sunscreen! If you need a hand just ask the boy next to you!

Be careful at night if you do go for a “walk”. Don’t bring your valuables, and be safe! Carry what you need!

Sitges is a great town to have fun and meet people. There are some great beaches with excellent facilities. Just remember to have fun, be careful and keep your wits about you! Stay tuned for the full 400 set over the next few weeks!
