Who knows where we will be in 2013. One thing is for sure, it is never too early to start planning your trip to a Sitges Carnival. The dates for Sitges Carnival / Sitges Carnaval 2013 are from Wed 6th February to Wed 13th of February.

The Parades will take place on Sunday the 10th and Tuesday the 12th of February. Hotels book up well in advance, especially during the weekends, so book early.

What an amazing Carnival. 7 days of Crazy parties, events and parades…and we are not even half-way through our review of photos. Here is a selection of some of our favourites so far.

Carnival kicked off on Sunday night to a packed house in El Canidl.

Their traditional Sunday Night show marks the start of 10 days of parties and mayhem in Sitges.

Giltter, feathers and lots of skin are the order of the day, so if you are planning a visit make sure you pack something sparkly!

El Candil’s Sunday show has become one of the must-see events in Sitges.

The bar is located in the old town and you will find a warm welcome from Sebastian and the team.

Now in its third year, Sitges Pride has become one of the most popular Summer beach prides in Europe attracting over 60,000 visitors over 5 days of parades and parties.

This year’s event will take place from Thursday the 5th of July through to Monday the 9th of July. The main parade kicks off on the Saturday afternoon, featuring more than 25 spectacular floats. Hundreds of muscle boys, go go’s drag queens and entertainers will take part adding to the carnival atmosphere.

The Mediterranean Sea will provide the backdrop for 5 days of free open air concerts. International tribute acts to Kylie, Queen, Tina Turner, Lady Ga Ga and more are planned. The promoters are also working with some big name stars for the Saturday evening spectacular in the gay village. “Splash”, the afternoon pool party on Monday will also make a welcome return.

The entire village of Sitges will go completely White on the Friday night to celebrate “The White Night” with special parties planned in all of the clubs and bars in the town. The raunchier “Black Knights” leather and fetish party is on the Sunday.

ES Collection will host a fashion show spectacular featuring more than 25 of Spain’s top male models. The popular Mr Gay and Miss Drag Queen Sitges competitions will take place on stage in the Gay Village.

The festivities finish on Monday night with a closing finale party in the main Village and a series of special after parties in some of Sitges legendary clubs including Trailer and L’Atlantida.
