Sitges Bears’ Week kicked off on Monday night at the “Bearzone”, otherwise know as C.Joan Tarrida.

Even Marypili has been converted into a mini bear-cave for the event.

The crowds gathered early at Parrots Pub and Terrace..

They then made their way to El Horno and XXL for the welcome reception.

Bears from near and far are in Sitges for one of the friendliest weeks in Sitges.

We have bears from all 4 corners of the globe, with a big increase in US visitors this year.

The bears week celebrations continue tonight with a bear-crawl. And there are still some event packs available for sale at XXL from 7pm if you want to join the official celebrations, dinners, beach days and more.

Bears week takes place every September in Sitges.

This year’s event is expected to attract a record number of visitors.

The event culminates in the election of Mr.Bear Sitges at Organic on Saturday night.

And you can expect a lot of bears at the Gay Beach Party tonight – remember it is the closing one!
