As the boys head back to school… the men arrive in Sitges. And so it goes, as September arrives, we receive a fresh influx of visitors to Sitges.

Bears Week takes place from the 6th to the 12th of September. The main focus of the events will centre on C.Joan Tarrida at XXL, Bears Bar, Organic and Parrots.

The event culminates with the election of Mr.Bar Sitges in Organic on Saturday the 11th with Special Guests, Barbazul. You can check out their music below.

This Tuesday night, celebrate the end of August with a bang at the Gay Beach Party at L’Atlantida. Its Barbie & Ken night…os you just need to decide who you want to be! Buses leave from outside the Hotel Calipolis every 15mins from 12.30am.

Saturday night and we headed over to C.Bonaventura and to Bourbons Bar.

It was Saturday Night and the party atmosphere was amazing.

Bourbons is open every night from 10pm until 3.30am.

Great music, low drinks prices and a cruisy dark room make it a popular bar throughout the year.

This year’s Fiesta Mayor parades took on a different route..

The fireworks, beasties and their entourage made their way right past the doors of Parrots Pub and Terrace..

Plz. Industria has never been so busy..

The street was packed with all sorts of devils, beasts and characters celebrating Sitges Fiesta Mayor or Festa Major in Catalan.

It is the annual party for Sitges patron Saint and one that lasts the entire week!

Spectators are advised to wear straw hats and sunglasses if they want to take part in the dance of fire..

Don’t wear anything expensive either.. these are real sparks and they burn… but its great fun!

The parade made its way through the entire town as the Giants danced and the bands played on.

The entire event will be repeated in late September during the Santa Tecla festival..just tin case you missed this one!
