Last Night saw the annual Noche De Las Mantillas held in Comodin. Check out our video blog coverage of the event.
Bar Comodin holds its annual Carnival Event, Noche de las Mantillas.
The mantilla is a traditional Spanish garment, which has a special significance. Is a variant of the veil that was used for women in the religious celebrations, but actually is used by Andalusian women in great celebrations. What better way to camp it up then!

- Saturday 2nd Gladiators
- Sunday 3rd, Lady Diamond in Cabaret show with Marco
- Tuesday 5th -Roma in Decadence
Bears Bar opens from Wed and will be offering 2 for 1 drinks for all those dressed up in Carnival Costume!
And Organic, Parrots Pub and Parrots Restaurant are open for the entire Carnival Event.
And as you can see, preparations are well underway for the Carnival in town… we won’t spoil the surprise too much, but this is how the stage looked on Sunday. See you at Carnival.

Cine Cafe are holding a series of special Movie-Themed evenings during carnival, two of which are featured above. On Sunday the 3rd, a special St. Trinians Night takes place with prizes for the “Sexiest Schoolboy Girl”…… dress to impress.
And on Tuesday the 5th of Feb, its Priscilla Night….. high camp fashion, hot buffet, an excellent movie and prizes for the best dressed drag queen! The competition will be fierce.

Cafe Sitges held their opening night party on Thursday. The event was very well attended and the party continued into the early hours of the morning. Cafe Sitges will officially open their doors to the public next week, just in time for Carnival.
